“Volakas White” is a fine-grained marble with ribbons of gray and brown veins that flow through an alabaster white background. The streaks run diagonally across the entire slab, permeating the surface with cloudy or wavy patterns. Also, grayish or red calcite lines and round-shaped calcite crystals may appear in some pieces.

It is a magnesium carbonate-rich marble quarried in the Falakro mountain in Northern Greece. Much like the “Carrara Marble,” the “Volakas White” is a timeless piece of beauty that exudes elegance and class when used in any application, be it countertop or floor tile.

As a natural product, it changes, ages, and wears over time. Like any other marble, it requires regular sealing because it is highly susceptible to staining and etching. Hence, it requires extra care and maintenance to retain its look as it did the day you had it installed.

Suppose you are the type of person who lives more casually and loves the character and beauty that a stone develops over continued use. In that case, the “Volakas White” may be the perfect countertop material for your home.
